What better place for a destination wedding than in one of the main countries known for passion, romance, and love? Seven guests joined Audra and Michael in Amalfi, Italy to witness them take their vows at the gorgeous and historic Hotel Luna Convento. Set with a perfect intimate venue and seriously breathtaking views, Shillawna Ruffner Photography was there to capture all the beauty of the day.
I can’t tell you how much I adore Audra’s stunning red locks, lace gown and sweet black and white heels. Amore!! They are hot!
A little snip it more from Photographer Shillawna Ruffner: Audra and Michael planned an intimate ceremony at the lovely, historic Hotel Luna Convento in Amalfi, Italy, founded by St. Francis Asissi and originally used as a convent and coastal outpost. The Bride and Groom selected this particular venue for their ceremony and luncheon because of the hotel’s rich history, including it’s long list of famous guests including Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, and Wagner and Benito Mussolini. The ceremony was originally to be held on a balcony overlooking the Amalfi Coast, but due to inclement weather, was moved inside and held in the cloister. Family and friends enjoyed a delicious luncheon catered by the Hotel’s restaurant which featured fresh local ingredients. The emphasis of the wedding was placed on the special relationships between the bride and groom and each of the 7 guest who attended, as well as the natural beauty of the Amalfi Coastline and ornate beauty of the Hotel.

Since I was having blog hosting issues yesterday (which deprived us all from the seaside wedding goods), I’ve another one here for you this afternoon from K and K Photography. Woot!
Megan and Doug’s wedding took place at the Grand Plaza Hotel in St. Petersburg Beach, Florida. I really love the soft lavender and yellow hues used in the bouquets against the brighter turquoise bridesmaid dresses. Starfish were hung on the chairs along the aisle and sailboat tea light holders added the perfect “pop” of color to the reception tables too. Just a few beach-themed elements added so much to their most magical day!

There’s just something so magical, mysterious, and dreamy about this engagement session and I’ve just fallen in love with every bit of it! And I’m too excited because this is my first feature ever coming all the way from Camarines Sur, Philippines and Peppermint Media! Their work is incredible and I’m thrilled they shared this little love sesh with us.
From Michael Trinidad (Peppermint Media): Shot along a fish reserve near one of the busiest ports in the region, Mark & Sheena are a blast to shoot. The waters were calm, the sun is stunning and the seaside is beautiful! This has got to be one of our most endearing seaside engagements ever!

Amazing right!?

Ahhh as week comes to a close, we sail off into the weekend with a sweet and flirtatious SoCal engagement session from the fabulous Beatrice Howell from RomaBea Images. Before moving to the East Coast, I lived in Laguna Niguel (close to where this couple’s e-sesh took place) so the rocky beach, ocean mists, and palm trees bring back such good memories.
Here’s a little more from Beatrice herself about this fun couple:
Living in California near the Ocean certainly has its benefits, and being able to shoot an Engagement Session there is definitely one of them!
I hope you enjoy these photos from an October 2011 Engagement in Laguna Beach! Not only was the weather perfect for shooting that day but, this couple was an absolute joy to work with!
The location had been a special place for the Groom to Be. One of those places where you love to soak up the atmosphere, relax and hang out! So, naturally, when it came time to choose where we wanted to capture this milestone in their lives, we gravitated to that exact location!
Enjoy the beauty of a Southern California day and this super fun couple celebrating their Engagement and love!
xoxo,
Bea

Thanks Bea for stopping in with this great engagement session and happy weekend to all you oceansiders!
