Have I mentioned how much I’m in love with the online store LuLu’s? They carry such stylish dresses, shoes, and accessories at very affordable prices. What I love about LuLu’s is they only carry a limited number of each dress in each size, so this means they go fast! I typically do a weekly LuLu search so I don’t miss out on anything new! Kind of obsessed I guess?
I purchased one of the prettiest light blue dresses from LuLu’s last September for a beach wedding and everyone raved about it- although of course I did not and was not trying to outshine the bride herself! I’m currently stocking their site for my bridal shower dress and other destination wedding outfits. We’re so lucky there are so many dresses to choose from!
Here are just a few dresses in light shades of soft pinks, blues, greens and grays from LuLu’s spring collection that I thought you might enjoy.

These pretty pastel dresses make me picture a group of lovely bridesmaids standing on the shoreline or pier at sunset while holding a yummy fruity drink in their hands during a cocktail hour or wedding reception. Can you tell I really miss the beach?
Hop on over to to LuLu’s online store to view more of their collection!

Happy Valentine’s Day Oceanside Brides! We have something new to introduce to you today (although I wouldn’t be surprised if you’ve already heard this through the bride blogsphere grapevine already)…
So while browsing through the fun threads and fashion masterpieces at the store Anthropologie, I often wished there was a line created with the Bride in mind. Well no more wishing ladies. Newly launched (TODAY!) and branched from Anthropologie, comes BHLDN (pronounced Beholden). The new line is a fresh of breath air, giving us gowns and dresses to choose that are destinctively designed with vintage-like appeal and “heir-loom quality”. Every gown, dress, and accessory BHLDN has designed, is embelleshed with modern-day flare yet still offers something every traditional bride will swoon over.
Check out these beauties…

You’ll want to head over to BHLDN to check out their new online store to see if there is something for you! BHLDN has a great line of wedding gowns, dresses (many of them making perfectly gorgeous bridesmaid dresses or bridal shower dress), hair adornments, cover-ups, shoes, and jewelry.
Which new BHLDN dress is your favorite? I don’t think I can pick just one!

An inspiration board I whipped up really quickly right before my trip to California (which makes me guilty of not being able to give credit to anyone for the pics- please, please, please let me know if these are yours and I will update the photo credit asap!). I was asking my cousin, Katrina to be my Maid-of-Honor while I was there (she lives there) and I wanted to show her the color scheme I was shooting for. I think I might go for a champagne color for our mothers’ dresses, but I’m still having an internal battle with myself (they are the worse!) on which color I like more for a bridesmaid dress, “oasis” blue or terracotta?
Any suggestions?

I do like these as options for my MOH. I’m thinking knee length since it will be summer time, but there are some really pretty floor length dresses out there. I’ll be visiting my cousin in a week and will ask her to be my Maid of Honor. I won’t be having bridesmaids although the more I look at dresses, the more I wish I could have all 9 of my favorite girls in my wedding because I think they would all look so beautiful! The venue we’ve picked would only allow me to have 4 due to the small space at the alter. So for me it was all or nothing when it came to the bridesmaids. My girls know how important they are to me though and I’ll still be celebrating their friendship in another special way as we get closer to the wedding.
