Was super excited to see this amazing Dreams Los Cabos wedding featured today on Intimate Weddings blog. I just get butterflies in my stomach when I see real wedding photos from other couples who got married at the same resort in Cabo that Mr. Oceanside and I will take our vows in August.

I’m happy to report that we’ve set a (new) date AND location for our nuptials! We’ll begin our new life together as husband and wife on August 1, 2011 in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico! After thinking long and hard about our budget, guest list and style preferences, we stayed true to our love for travel (and each other) and decided to scrap the California wedding plan idea and followed the map a little further south to well…Baja California Sur. I heard amazing stories about Cabo from friends who took a trip there last July (and yes, they love me enough to go back for our wedding in August this year) and after doing some extensive destination wedding research on my own, we decided Cabo marked the spot! So after getting the go-ahead (with slight reservations) from friends and family, the planning commenced and we’re now less than 6 months away!
